For the manufacture of industrial floors
FloorMag® is widely used in the production of high quality industrial floor systems, where Sorel
(or magnesia) cement is mixed with fillers and pigments. This Sorel cement is a mixture of FloorMag®
and a magnesium chloride (MgCl2) solution.
 When FloorMag® and magnesium chloride react, a very fine needle-like felt (with a chemical composition that is normally MgCl2 x 5 Mg(OH)2 x 8 H2O) is formed between the granules of the filler material. This gives the end-product high flexion and compression strengths.
