The application area for magnesium oxide is exceedingly large. That is why we need many different qualities of magnesium oxide. The know-how to source the right quality natural magnesium oxide from different locations around the world is the key to our success.
 In nature, magnesite occurs as magnesium carbonates (MgCO3) in macro-crystalline and crypto-crystalline forms. The main impurities are Fe2O3, SiO2, CaO and Al2O3. Depending on its
form (macro- or crypto-crystalline), the amount of impurities,
the burning aggregate (shaft kiln or rotary kiln), the burning temperature (more or less active) and other physical and chemical parameters, the quality may be suitable for processing and trade or not.
Sourcing means more than only knowing where one can buy magnesium oxide. It also means that we travel frequently to our suppliers and potential suppliers to find out whether or not they are reliable,
that they can guarantee a longer term supply of constant quality raw materials, that they inform us about changes in production and new developments and that they are able and willing to adopt qualities to our requirements.
So we know where to buy the right quality for a specific application. But that is not all that we guarantee to our customers: we also guarantee that the physical parameters of all incoming raw materials are tested in our own well equipped laboratory and that the chemical parameters are tested by reputable independent laboratories.
