Ecopiren products - specifically milled and surface treated magnesium hydroxide, are designed for appliance as flame retardant additives. Ecopiren flame retardants show themselves as effective flame retardant fillers for different polymeric materials achieving high values of LOI (without significant losses of mechanical properties), smoke emission reduction and toxic gas absorption.
Ecopiren is produced by Russian Mining Chemical Company. We are the distributor for the Ecopiren range in Europe.

Ecopiren is suitable as flame retardant in PVC, PP and PE compounds. It is available at 5 and 3 microns, and as coated and un-coated.
