Both in powder as in liquid suspension, the Magnesium Hydroxide could be used for Phosphate removal, Struvite formation, pH neutralization, the neutralization of SO3 in Energy waste gas streams, pharmaceutical and food applications and as a flame reatardant.
Our Magnesium Hydroxide product portfolio consists of Ecopiren, Purmag S50 and MH and Manmag HP MH. Manmag HP MH is a high purity Magnesium Hydroxide suitable for use in pharmaceutical and food applications. The product can also be used as raw material for chemical processes with low residual heavy metal requirements.
Ecopiren 5 is a fine-milled Magnesium Hydroxide of natural origin (Brucite), especially suitable as flame retardant in thermoplastic and elastomer polymer compounds. It could also be used as a component of paint and resins. A stearic acid coated version is also available (Ecopiren 5c). Ecopiren is a registered trademark of Russian Mining.
Purmag S50 is a stabilized Magnesium Hydroxide slurry suitable for use in technical applications, as additive in waste water treatment and in struvite formation. Purmag S50 is produced by SMA Magnesia.
Purmag MH is a 'technical' Magnesium Hydroxide suitable as flue gas additive, foliar feed spray and specialty feed applications.
