Mankey® is the best granulated material for de-husking, grinding and polishing and therefore perfectly suitable for use in rice mills. It is a chemically inert, extreme tough and hard, natural mineral with extraordinary grinding and polishing qualities. Mankey® is available in various grain sizes and various mixes of grain sizes, and is harmless to the environment.
Mankey® is based on natural aluminium oxide (corundum). It has a cubical, polygonal grain with a very rough surface. This rough surface guarantees an excellent cementing to all binding agents. The grains are very hard and tough, and because of its solid structure it is not brittle like other hard additives.
